Description

Tennis Fan by Stephan Wurth illustrates the photographer's love of tennis over the last 10 years. In all black and white film images, the book captures Stephan's life as a tennis fan, traveling to tennis tournaments, being captivated by anything tennis and experiencing tennis in any way he can, no matter where he is.

Author Biography

Stephan Wurth is a photographer originally from Germany who grew up between Munich, Texas and California. He discovered photography at age fourteen during a family vacation in Spain; his favorite subjects were sun-bathing women on the Costa del Sol. In 2000, he enrolled in the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale to study photography, and after graduating, became a full time photographer. Since then, his work has been featured in editions of Vogue, The New York Times, Porter Magazine, GQ, Playboy, Esquire, Galore Magazine, Treats Magazine and Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition among others. His advertising clients have included Levi's, Bonobos, Virgin Atlantic, Wurth Group, A Pea in the Pod, The Related Group to name a few. He has photographed celebrities including Serena Williams, Venus Williams, Pharrell Williams, Alison Brie, Maria Sharapova, Ivanka Trump, Kelly Rutherford and Andy Cohen.
