Description
Take a trip to the heart of suburbia through the lens of Kim Bukshteyn as she captures the icons that define our neighbourhoods. From the humble weatherboard to a post-war brick veneer, ornate iron gates to the faded signage of a once-busy corner store, The 'Burbs takes us on a nostalgic journey through the streets where we grew up and the places we call home.
Author Biography
Kim Walvisch has been steadfastly documenting Melbourne suburbia for the past five years. She has taken photos in more than 100 suburbs to create a nostalgic archive of how things looked before the takeover of development.
