Description

A survey of new residential architecture from Aotearoa, New Zealand, this mammoth new book features photography by Simon Devitt, text by Andrea Stevens and design by Luke Scott. It presents a rich and extensive catalogue of New Zealand residential architecture - houses that have a deep connection with the land. A sense of place is at the core of the curatorial vision for the publication, featuring unique projects that respond to, and are in harmony with, the land. The project selection ranges from high-altitude ski retreats to countryside lodges and coastal abodes, from the pragmatic and utilitarian to the elegant and luxurious. Cape to Bluff is an exclusive view into some of the most interesting, ideas-driven projects of recent years.
