Description
Learn how to draw with easy, stress-free lessons designed to build a solid foundation for drawing in just 15 minutes. Starting with pencil techniques and warm-up exercises,Getting Started (15-Minute Drawing) guides you in exploring the basics of drawing with graphite pencil-from how to hold a pencil and varying pressure to practicing basic strokes and techniques, including hatching, crosshatching, stippling, creating texture, blending, and more. Prompts and open spaces invite you to practice your newfound skills directly inside the book and to record your progress. Once you've mastered the basics, you are then guided through more than 30 step-by-step projects across a range of subjects, including flowers, animals, buildings, and everyday items. Each project starts with a basic shape, with each step building on the previous until the project is finished-in just 15 minutes. Books in the 15-Minute Series are perfect primers for beginning artists who want to learn the basics. Designed to be used as artist notebooks, these interactive workbooks include prompts and exercises that allow beginning artists to test out their skills directly inside the book.
