She is a now a gardening writer and consultant, and has written books on a variety of gardening topics, including Successful Shrubs, Successful Perennials and Growing Your Own Vegetables. She has also written a column in Garden Inspirations magazine providing solutions to readers' practical gardening problems and, in addition she writes for the gardening website www.greenfingers.com
