Author Biography

Stephanie Alexander is one of Austrlia's most highly regarded food writers, and has written eleven books, including her Australian kitchen bible, The Cook's Companion (which resides in over 400 000 homes), Stephanie's Menus, Stephanie's Seasons and Stephanie Alexander and Maggie Beer's Tuscan Cookbook (co-author). Her most recent book, Kitchen Garden Cooking with Kids, exudes the philosophy that there is no such thing as special food for children: if food is good, everyone will enjoy it regardless of their age, and this principle is followed through in this book, which aims to involve all the family in both gardening and cooking at home. A note from the editor: Both authoritative and distinctly personal, the book is one that all keen and aspiring kitchen gardeners and home cooks will want to own then use everyday.
