Author Biography

Aurelia Beaupommier is a passionate reader of all wonderful and fantastic literature. She decided to join the CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) in France, where she worked for many years as a librarian. As passionate about books as she is about cooking, she now lives with her family in Normandy, in a secret place where there are "books, friends, and flowers" and where she has concocted these recipes from the world cultures of the imaginary. She previously published two books with Skyhorse: The Wizard's Cookbook(2017), The Wizard's Dessert Cookbook (2019), and The Unofficial Harry Potter Fan's Cookbook (2019). Grace McQuillan has translated the works of Andrei Makine, Stephane Allix, and has received a French Voices Award for her translation of Le Crieur de Nuit by Nelly Alard. Her work has also appeared in The Brooklyn Rail and PBS NewsHour. Originally from New Jersey, she now lives in Nevis.
