Description
Here is a fun and easy way to throw a party as you explore the world of international cheeses. Complete with profile cards on such cheese varieties as Fourme D'Ambert, a cow's milk cheese from France, Parmigiano-Reggiano, the beloved specialty of Italy, or Tumalo Tomme, a goat's milk cheese from Oregon, "The Cheese Tasting Party Kit" also includes display cards on which to write each cheese selection for easy identification. Arrange a few cheeses on a platter, use the display cards to let your guests know which cheese is which, and let the tasting begin! Try one of the enclosed cheese menu ideas to get started. As you gain knowledge, you can get more creative-try an array of Spanish cheeses or discover the subtleties of different Cheddars. A handy booklet offers advice on buying, storing, and pairing cheeses together; a tasting checklist to keep track of your cheese conquests; and plenty of space for keeping notes on your favorites. Plus, each cheese profile gives suggestions for the appropriate wine to serve with it. With advice from cheese expert Janet Fletcher, this clever kit is sure to inspire and educate, as you taste each variety from Asiago to Valdeon.
