Author Biography

John Torode is best known as the straight-talking and acerbic co-host of BBC's MasterChef and Celebrity MasterChef. Australian by birth, he came to the UK in the early 1990s and joined the Conran Group, where he was head chef at Mezzo. John now runs Smiths of Smithfield in the heart of London's only working meat market. A new venture, The Luxe in London's Spitalfields Market, opens this September. He contributes food articles to many magazines and newspapers and appears regularly on radio and television. Author Location: London
