Reviews

Weary of the same old burgers, tough steaks and dried-out chicken breasts? Then say goodbye to boring! Use the instructions inside this book to serve a perfectly grilled, yet simple entree or side dish.. or turn up the heat and go wild! Tangy marinades, savory rubs, zesty basting sauces, and flavorful salsas will give your grilling just the kick that's been missing. MY REVIEW - I had very mixed feelings about this book. I did take the time and looked through all the recipes! The recipes are GREAT. So what's the problem, you might ask. There are NO pictures at all in this book!!!!! One of my biggest pet-peeves for cook books - there has to be colored pictures! I really think that is a same because this book does have a lot to offer, but I am afraid that many people will pass it up due to the lack of pictures. It has basic grill tips, like how long these forms of chicken should be cooked - ~ Boneless breast - 165 - 170 degrees ~ chicken patties - 165 - 180 degrees ~ Whole chicken - 165 - 180 degrees ~ Ground chicken or Turkey - 165 degrees Here are some of the great recipes - Lemon Marinade (I wrote the "in a nut shell" version) 1/3 cup lemon juice 1/4 c. olive oil 2 - 3 tsp. Dijon mustard 2 garlic cloves 2 T. chopped green pepper salt black pepper Combine all, marinade chicken for at least 20 min. in frig. Some other great ideas - Taco Chicken Burgers, Thai Turkey Burgers, Sesame Chicken Salad,Autumn Pork chop stacks, Grilled Salmon, Grilled Shrimp Skewers. Pear-pineapple-mango salsa, Herb grilled Veggies,Black Bean & rice stuffed peppers, and here's one for my mom - Blue cheese stuffed Mushrooms (YUCK! I hate mushrooms and blue cheese!) There are literately hundreds of recipes! Are ya hungry yet?
