Author Biography

Regula Ysewijn is a Belgian culinary historian, author and photographer. Her books Pride and Pudding, Belgian Cafe Culture and Oats in the North, Wheat from the South were lauded by BBC Radio Four's acclaimed The Food Programme. Regula also frequently appears on radio and television, and in Belgium she is the resident culinary historian and judge on the Flemish version of The Great British Bake Off.
