Matthew Weiner, MD graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor, Michigan and completed his General Surgery residency at New York University Hospital in New York City. He has been in practice since 2006 with a focus on bariatric surgery. Dr. Weiner is the creator of A Pound of Cure, a specialized nutritional program that maximizes a patient's weight loss after surgery. His previous books include A Pound of Cure and How Weight Loss Surgery Really Works. Dr. Weiner currently practices at Tucson Bariatric in Tucson, Arizona.
