Description
Offering easy recipes for healthy eating, this book is aimed at those who would like to improve their diet but lack inspiration. It suggests ways for using herbs that will add flavour - but not salt or fat - to favourite soups, salads, meats, vegetables and desserts. All of the blends are simple to make and consist of home-grown herbs or dried herbs and spices which are readily available in supermarkets and natural food stores. Instructions are included for drying and storing your own herbs.

Reviews"Herb Mixtures & Spicy Blends" is a marvelously creative recipe book of ethnic flavorings, no salt blends, marinages/dressings, butters/spreads, dessert mixtures, and teas/mulling spices, created by an array of herbs farmers, herbalists, herb shop owners, herb learning centers, bed and breakfast owners, and even an herb society from all over North America..." - Barnesville Record-Review
