Description
In our hectic fast paced lives, people have opted for the convenience of ready made meals and fast food restaurants. Unfortunately, the art and joy of cooking at home has been lost. The memories of sitting down to a delicious home cooked meal is one that Gina wants to bring back. This cookbook guides the home chef with easy to follow recipes with many "Mom tips". This book was created by Gina for her sons when they left for college. What started out as handwritten recipes in a notebook evolved into the cookbook available today. She wanted to give her boys comfort and knowledge of cooking to create fun lasting memories in their kitchens as well. This cookbook contains recipes for breakfast, lunch, side dishes, main dishes, soups, and desserts. In addition, this cookbook has extra tips for creating a functional kitchen with the equipment and utensils needed as well as pantry and seasoning basics. These recipes vary from Mexican, Italian, Thai and American. And, it also contains many home cooking favorites such as meatloaf, stews and chicken pot pie. Gina's love for cooking is shown throughout this cookbook.
