Author Biography

Jun Nakajima has been the owner of The Sushi Man catering company for the past eleven years. Born to parents that have owned and operated a Japanese restaurant for over 30 years, Jun was able to practice and hone his culinary skills at an early age. After graduating from the University of Colorado Boulder, Jun took an opportunity to live in the motherland of sushi. In those two years his appreciation of the culture, people, history and food deepened. This experience became the seed that eventually bloomed to become The Sushi Man. Jun resides in Denver, Colorado with his wife Stephanie and son Hiro. Stephanie Nakajima has been the backbone of The Sushi Man since its beginnings. A graduate of the University of Hawaii, Stephanie has used her background in marketing and finance to help build The Sushi Man. Born and raised in Oahu, Hawaii, Stephanie resides in Denver, Colorado with her husband Jun and son Hiro.
