Drew Smith is the author of Oyster: A Gastronomic History with Recipes (Abrams, 2015) and translator of La Mere Brazier (Rizzoli, 2014). He is a former editor of the UK Good Food Guide, a Guardian columnist, and has won the Glenfiddich prize three times. He lives in London.
