Author Biography
Gary K. Griffith is President of Griffith Training, a productivity and quality consulting firm in Huntington Beach, California. Griffith conducts in-plant and public training courses and seminars on various engineering and quality related topics. He is a Senior Member of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), an ASQ Certified Quality Engineer, and a Fellow of the Institute for Advancement of Engineering (IAE). During his 35 years of experience, Griffith has held a variety of manufacturing and quality positions, including inspection, inspection supervision, process control engineer/supervisor, quality engineer, quality manager, and process engineering manager. He has also taught courses in quality, engineering, mechanical design, and machine tool technology at El Camino College in Hawthorne, California. He is a firm believer in quality practices and the promotion of quality awareness in order to improve the status of American businesses.
