Author Biography
Kiki Deere first visited the Philippines in 2003 and has returned time and time again to explore more of this incredibly diverse archipelago. She has traveled extensively throughout the country--among her favorite spots are the mystical Cordilleras with their ancient rice terraces that weave around the mountainside, and the awe-inspiring limestone formations that rise dramatically from the crystal-clear waters of Palawan. She has written dozens of guidebooks, including The Rough Guide to the Philippines and The Rough Guide to Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei, and regularly writes for magazines on a number of destinations worldwide.
ReviewsAs a visual learner, I really enjoyed the book. It's not only entertaining but also very informative. It has travel tips that are very useful for both locals and foreigners who want to explore the Philippines. --Travel with Karla blog
