Author Biography

As a freelance journalist, Anna Nicholas has contributed to titles that include The Daily Telegraph, Financial Times, Independent, Daily Mail, Daily Express, Evening Standard, Tatler and UltraTravel. She contributes a monthly column to Telegraph Expat and a weekly column to Majorca Daily Bulletin. She is a fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and has been an international adjudicator for The Guinness Book of Records. Together with explorer Colonel John Blashford-Snell, OBE, she once organised an expedition to carry a grand piano to the remote Wai Wai tribe in Guyana which was the subject of a BBC2 TV documentary.
