Reviews

"Let us go with Hannah and Amy to Kenya and have a look at their real-life adventures in Hannah & Amy Go To Kenya by Sabrina Rizk. Kenya is on the east coast of Africa, right at the equator, bordering the Indian Ocean. Let us visit The Giraffe Center, the Great Rift Valley, The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, and the Galu Kinondo Beach with them. The David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust rescues elephants that are orphaned and then releases them into the wild around the age of ten. Hannah and Amy have fun watching the orphaned calves having milk in their bottles and playing with each other in the mud. The Giraffe Center is a sanctuary for the Rothschild Giraffe which is an endangered species. Hannah and Amy have fun feeding them food pellets. After exploring the Great Rift Valley, the girls go to the Galu Kinondo Beach and Wildebeest Eco Camp. The book is educational and informative and gives young readers good insights and facts about Kenya, its people, and life in general. The book also encourages readers to travel and explore new destinations. The photographs give glimpses of the fun time the author and her family had during their stay in Kenya, the interesting places they visited and the things they did. It is also a good book for all those who are planning to travel to Kenya because it will give them information on what to see on their visit there. The 'Did You Know' part at the end of each chapter gives young readers interesting facts about Kenya and the glossary is helpful when it comes to understanding new terms and words."
