Description

Brian Lovett's "Hunting Pressured Turkeys" examines the modern turkey hunting scene and offers a concise, in-depth explanation of how to scout for, set up on, and kill wary gobblers. Lovett discusses the bird's natural tendencies and its reasons for responding to various terrain features. After giving hints on where turkeys are likely to be found, he covers the essential skill of calling, offering tips on how to master the most popular turkey calls. Lovett provides complete strategies for hunting different times of day, aggressive and subtle approaches, and troubleshooting the tough ones, whether they're henned-up, silent, or just bad old warriors. Peppered with vivid colour photos and entertaining anecdotes from the author's days afield, "Hunting Pressured Turkeys" is a delight to read and a must-have guide for figuring out the pressured-turkey puzzle.
