Author Biography
Gordon Wright produced more horsemanship champions than any other trainer of his era, most notably William Steinkraus, George Morris, and Frank Chabot, all of whom went onto Olympic fame. At the time of his death in 1990, he was universally acclaimed as one of the most influential horsemen in the United States. He lived in White Plains, New York. George Morris is a protege of Gordon Wright. America's most successful trainer of hunter/jumper riders, he now serves as coach of America's gold-winning Olympic show jumping squad. Morris lives in Wellington, Florida.
