Author Biography

BLAND CROWDER is associate director and editor with the Flora of Virginia Project, whose Flora of Virginia was published in December 2012. He is also a freelance writer and editor. He lives in Richmond, Virginia. JARED TRAVNICEK is medical illustrator with an MA in Medical and Biological Illustration from the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. He is based in Indianapolis, IN, where he works as a neurosurgical illustrator.
