The book, REVOLUTION is designed to be easy reading for any person who wants to learn about the many painful but glorious steps in human social evolution. Nine chapters are devoted to the description and evaluation of nine different revolutions, those that have been of the greatest importance in changing social institutions and social evolution in completely new directions. Howard J. Sherman is a professor of Economics Emeritus at University of California, Riverside. He is also visiting Reasearcher at Department of Political Science, University of California, Los Angeles.
