Description

Eckhart Tolle brings us brand-new insights into the astonishing power of stillness. His writings on the power of living in the moment have become the most sought-after modern classic on spiritual enlightenment. Now we are shown how to become our true selves by embracing silence and stillness. When we are no longer limited by our thinking mind, suffering and pain disappears and we are able to move towards a new understanding of our relationships, of nature, and of the profound wisdom that is to be found in stillness.

Author Biography

Eckhart Tolle was born in Germany, where he lived until he was thirteen years of age. After graduating from the University of London, he was a research scholar and supervisor at Cambridge University. After devoting many years to understanding, integrating and deepening that transformation, he has worked for the last ten as a counsellor and spiritual teacher, working with individuals and small groups in Europe and North America. He has lived in Vancouver, British Columbia, since 1996.
