Description

Students of all ages who already have an advanced knowledge of French but who have little specialized knowledge of economics or business will greatly benefit from this unusual book. Each of the fourteen chapters supplies an introduction in French to a specific area of business and enables the reader to understand newspaper articles and various other documents from the world of business. Relevant vocabulary and a variety of activities (often oral) are provided to reinforce the practical nature of the material. These activities range from comprehension and translation to role-play and debate. The selected business texts that close each chapter help students to apply the knowlege aquired and heighten their awareness of business, both national and international.
