Author Biography

MARKKU LONKILA is an Academy of Finland Research Fellow working at the Department of Social Research, University of Helsinki. His research interests include social networks, the role of information and communications technology in the social, political and economic development of Russia, and the study of Russian civic activism in a comparative perspective.
