Author Biography

Ani Peters born in 1963 Adelaide, South Australia. A retired Registered Nurse and Social Worker but happiest when writing stories and creating a world with words. Ani is an author and established poet. Her first major work, Amelia and Me ~ life love and loss with my 23-year-old cat was released in 2019 by Brolga Publishing. She has published three free-verse poetry books to date. Her first poetry book, Times in my Life ~ a collection of free verse poetry is more confessional poetry following different times in her life and her second, Moonlight Sonata follows the theme of Night-time as well as selected old and new poems. Inspired by Ludwig van Beethoven, a piano sonata no. 14 in C# minor. Her third poetry book, The Autumn of my 55th year is a selection of poetry written in sections, the cold autumn, reflections, portraits, landscapes and gratitude. Her goals in life are simple - to keep writing books for as long as possible. Ani makes her home in South Australia in a seaside suburb with her family, a large undisciplined garden and a growing number of writing, art and crocheting projects and loves learning and playing the piano and clarinet.
