Description
'Discovering the Meaning of Scripture' is an accessible guide for all Bible students. It provides the reader with a logical and motivational presentation of biblical interpretation- or hermeneutics. R.W. Hamilton sets each passage in its historical setting to teach the practical uses and applications of our Bible. This book contains five major sections, progressing from the "need" to the "rules" of hermeneutics. It surveys the multiple areas of life, individually and corporately, in which we are called upon to apply the Bible appropriately.
