For over 1000 years Thailand has been a crossroads for the artistic traditions of India, Sri Lanka, Cambodia and Indonesia. Over that time, it has slowly developed its own unique style of artistic expression. This study, drawing on extensive museum, temple and library research, covers the major forms and periods of Thai art and provides a complete overview of the tradition.
