Description
The sixty photographs contained in this book were taken over the course of more than a decade by Luca Cam pigotto in New York. They are primarily images borrowed from movies and comic books, visions of the city at night. A Gotham City reconstructed from memory, often infused with a glassy light and an atmosphere at times glowing with vivid colors, other times wrapped in muted hues. A sentimental journey in the Big Apple of our imagination - from the East River bridges to the Empire State Building, from the Guggeheneim Museum to Canal Street, from Times Square to the old docks of Brooklyn, each image looking like the backdrop for scene in a movie.
