This volume profiles three Luftwaffe pilots who flew on the Eastern Front during World War II - Heinz Ewald, Walter Wolfrum and Werner Hohenberg. Heinz Ewald was a Barkhorns wingman, who took part in 396 missions, securing 84 victories. Walter Wolfrum served from February 1943 until the end of the war. He is credited with 137 confirmed kills. Werner Hohenberg entered the war in 1942 and was credited with 33 victories in 200 missions, with all victories recorded over the Eastern Front.
