Description
When Bob Dylan crooned, The answer, my friend, is blowin' in the wind, it turned out a lot of people thought he had declared an odd but worthy allegiance to tiny creatures in trouble: The ants are my friends, blowin' in the wind Word lovers, pun lovers, music lovers, slaphappy kids, and everyone with a sense of humor will groan mightily at this collection of just such misunderstood, borrowed, fractured, and pun-filled versions of song lyrics, compiled by two talented humorists, both former International Punsters of the Year.
Author Biography
Richard Lederer is a humorist whose syndicated column, Looking at Language, appears in newspapers across the country. He is the author of Anguished English, Get Thee to a Punnery, and A Man of My Words. He lives in San Diego. Stan Kegel is a specialist in pediatric cardiology and the author of puns that appear regularly in the Pun American Newsletter, The Pundit, and The Punster. He lives in Orange, California.
Reviews"Richard Lederer is the illegitimate offspring of H. L. Mencken and Dave Barry. More Anguished English made me laugh so hard I cried on my pants." -- Lewis Frumkes, author, Metapunctuation, on More Anguished English"
