Description

40 rich years of State of Origin football, reflecting the triumphs, the pain, the controversies and the incidents that shape rugby league's greatest spectacle. Written by Liam Hauser, State of Origin: 40 Years 1980-2019 is a fascinating celebration of rugby league and the legendary State of Origin series, which is one of the most widely followed sporting events since it was established in 1980. Every game of each series is explored in detail, with a blow-by-blow account of all of the key incidents that determine its complexity and outcome. These colourful field reports illuminate how the games ebb and flow and how fine the line is between success and failure.
