A successful and versatile writer, John Barwick has published about 230 titles. He started of writing funny stories for children, but then turned off to children's non-fiction and text books. His books have been shortlisted in the CBCA Book of the Year Awards and in The Australian Awards for Excellence in Educational Publishing. Recently retired as a Primary School Principal, John now writes full-time.
