"Verge" is Monash University's annual anthology of creative writing; this tenth edition features the best of Monash University's creative writers as well as a selection of other emerging Australian and international wordsmiths. For the first time in 2014 "Verge" features the winning entries of the prestigious Monash Prize awarded as part of the Emerging Writers Festival. This volume seeks to represent diversity, a wide scope of short fiction and poetry without restraint or classification, other than talent.
Author Biography
Rebecca Jones is an environmental historian in the School of History and Centre for Environmental History at the Australian National University. She is author of Green Harvest: a History of Organic Farming and Gardening in Australia and has published widely in environmental history, Australian history and on rural health and wellbeing.
