Since her first experience of life in the kitchen as a 15-year-old doing work experience at Mietta's, Karen Martini has never looked back. After several years working in restaurants around Melbourne, she took the helm at the Melbourne Wine Room, and has since made it one of the city's most acclaimed and best-loved venues.
