ReviewsIn the book's optimism, it aims, not just to educate the children about the universe, but also the acceptance of thoughts and feelings within it - something we think adults can learn from too. * It's Nice That * Explains that although we are all only specks in the universe, there is so much to love about life. * Youth Services Book Review * Learning at a metalinguistic level will be taking place but more important is the space created for intimacy and interchange. Child of galaxies, written as an address to a child by an adult voice, speaks in the optimistic spirit of Lou Reed's Beginning of a Great Adventure. * Reading Therapy, The Prisma * An opportunity to explore some of life's big questions with young children is presented by Child of galaxies with Blake Nuto's lyrical rhyming text and Charlotte Ager's beautiful illustrations. * Red Reading Hub * This is a perfect introduction to poetry and philosophy. It will see little readers marvel at the astonishing light of their own being. * @LuggyLibrary on Instagram * This book is awe-inspiring as it gives a look at the bigger picture of what we are a part of and the wonder that we are made of. It's a beautiful one for a keepsake book. * Book Nerd Mommy * Charlotte Ager's illustrations have a fresh look and their style conveys the emotions described in the text beautifully. * A Library Lady * A really sweet, magical and lyrical book helping children to feel confident in themselves and their existence by showing them that they are all part of a bigger picture. * @Diverse_ Kids_ Books on Instagram * Rhyming text, stunning imagery and considerations about our place in the world are magical, with each double page a work of art. -- @kidsbookstolife on Instagram
