Author Biography
Stephen Crane (1 November 1871- 5 June 1900) was an American novelist who wrote notable works in the Realist tradition. Modern critics recognise Crane as one of the most innovative writers of his generation. Gustav Schrotter (1901-1971) fleeing from Nazi Germany, emigrated to the U.S where he became a successful illustrator of educational books for young readers.
