Reviews"A useful book to have on hand in the class library when issues of sharing and friendship arise. As each character imagines what is inside Mole's box, there are rich opportunities to discuss children's own predictions as well as their opinions about Mole's actions. A valuable book suited to the infant years but that could be used in any primary school classroom." * Just Imagine * "A thoroughly enjoyable story full of expositions and some fun onomatopoeic sounds for listeners to join in with, lively endearing characters both animal and human, and lots to ponder on and discuss about kindness, forgiving, sharing and getting on together: all in all a super book for class, group or individual sharing." * Red Reading Hub * "Everyone wants to know what Mole got in his big brown box, but he says "None of your business" How rude! So his friends are even more determined to find out, with hilarious consequences. This is a lively and highly entertaining story about sharing, friendship and good manners, with charming illustrations. Perfect for sharing in the classroom, this story can be used to stimulate discussion and reinforce good behaviour, through the medium of a highly enjoyable story." * Parents in Touch * "The soft-edged cartoons [are] enhanced with emphatic dialogue...a subtle lesson in politeness." * Kirkus * "A picture book about bad behaviour that delivers a subtle lesson in politeness." * Achuka *
