ReviewsUtkin's artwork is visually stunning, using a palette of striking primary colours that matches the boldness of his narrative perfectly. Infusing new life into a traditional Russian folk tale, this latest instalment in the Gamayun Tales series is as enthralling and evocative as its predecessors. * Children's Books Ireland Recommended Reads 2019-20 * In 'Tyna of the Lake,' Utkin's visuals are as good as ever, with this issue being washed in swathes of vibrant green and blue hues. I can't help but be drawn into the underwater kingdom and want to visit it (when it's not under Vodyanoy's rule) and meet these characters -- Luke Cornelius * Multiversity Comics * Utkin can amaze with the twists while retaining the essential fairytale quality of the stories he adapts. [...] It's another all ages treat in a nice small hardcover edition. -- Karl Verhoven * The Slings & Arrows Graphic Novel Guide * Tyna of the Lake is the kind of book that will confound and amaze young readers. The art style is lovingly drawn and presented on a huge storied canvas. The illustrations convey the grandiose scale of the monsters, their uniqueness and the magic of the world that lives under the lake. * DaddyMojo *
