Reviews

"This book is a wonderful introduction to Ancient Greece and Rome. Michael Webb takes us on a historical journey from the myths and legends of Ancient Greece to the wars with Persia and Alexander the Great. Ancient Rome is explored from Romulus and Remus to Julius Caesar and the decline and fall of the Empire. It is an excellent study of a fascinating period of history." Niall Murphy, Radley College "Remarkable for its comprehensive detail, this textbook should encourage confident delivery of the curriculum as well as free reading amongst the pupils. Its detailed text is supplemented by a wide range of exercises to stimulate and inspire class discussion as well as individual thought." Paul Spencer, Port Regis School
