Published to celebrate the centenary of its foundation, this book introduces and samples the Hocken's principal collections. There are many outstanding items in these collections, including significant holdings of twentieth-century New Zealand art, early New Zealand manuscripts, maps and publications, early Australian manuscripts and many other items of great interest.
