Author Biography
Lawrie Metcalf is one of New Zealand's foremost authorities on New Zealand flora. For 22 years he was the Assistant Director of the Christchurch Botanic Gardens and since his retirement in 1992, he has written and photographed some half dozen comprehensive gardening guides.
