Description

A collection of three rural stories about finding home in unexpected places. Something in the Wine by Tricia Stringer High school teacher Keely's beach holiday plans are turned upside down when a medical emergency and an intervention by a kind stranger finds her recovering in a Margaret River vineyard instead. At first left downcast, slowly the lovely food, spectacular wine and beautiful landscape of the area begin to work their spell. Keely didn't mean to fall for anyone, but she can't help her feelings for clever, passionate wine-maker Flynn. Can what Keely feels be real? Or is it just something in the wine? The Goodbye Ride by Lily Malone Olivia is a woman on a mission. The motorbike that once belonged to her late brother has come up for re-sale, and she is determined to buy it back. Only one person stands in her way and she's just tripped and fallen at his feet. How far will Liv go to make the motorbike hers? Can a viticulturalist fall for a man who prefers beer? And will a weekend among the vines be long enough for Liv to believe she can trust him with her heart? Sweet From the Vine by Jacquie Underdown Back in her hometown for a fresh start, newly divorced Matilda has landed the perfect job on the breathtaking local vineyard. The only catch is Mitch - widower, single dad, her old high school flame and her new boss. When the sparks between them grow so bright they can't be ignored, Matilda is forced to question what she truly wants in life. But first Mitch must learn that moving on is not a betrayal, and find the courage to fight for his second chance at love.

Author Biography

Tricia Stringer is a bestselling and multiple award-winning author. Her books include Birds of a Feather, The Family Inheritance, The Model Wife, Table for Eight, and the rural romances Queen of the Road, Right as Rain, Riverboat Point, Between the Vines, A Chance of Stormy Weather, Come Rain or Shine and Something in the Wine. She has also published a historical saga; Heart of the Country, Dust on the Horizon and Jewel in the North are set in the unforgiving landscape of nineteenth-century Flinders Ranges. Tricia grew up on a farm in country South Australia and has spent most of her life in rural communities, as owner of a post office and bookshop, as a teacher and librarian, and now as a full-time writer. She lives in the beautiful Copper Coast region with her husband Daryl, travelling and exploring Australia's diverse communities and landscapes, and sharing her passion for the country and its people through her authentic stories and their vivid characters. So she wrote her first book, His Brand of Beautiful, instead. Lily has now written six full length rural romance stories and a novella all published by Harlequin Escape. Her debut trade paperback, The Vineyard In The Hills, was published by Harlequin MIRA in September 2016. Last Bridge Before Home is the third of three books set in the fictional Western Australian town of Chalk Hill, a town which, in Lily's imagination, is about halfway between Manjimup and Mount Barker on the Muirs Highway. Book One was Water Under the Bridge, published in February 2018, which is Jake and Ella's story; and Book Two, The Cafe by the Bridge, followed Taylor and Abe. When she isn't writing, Lily likes gardening, walking, wine, and walking in gardens (sometimes with wine). She also doesn't mind the odd game of cards and loves her regular Thursday Night hand with the Card Girls. She lives in the Margaret River region of Western Australia with her husband, and two handsome sons who take after their father. Lily is a member of Australian Rural Fiction and Australian Fiction Authors. She loves to hear from readers and you can find her on Facebook, and on Twitter: @lily_lilymalone. Numbers and practicality are a way of life for Jacquie as she works as an accountant by day. So it's no wonder, for sanity's sake, she balances this banality with words, characters and imagination in all other possible moments. Jacquie is an author of a number of novels and writes contemporary women's fiction that is emotionally driven and possesses unique themes beyond the constraints of the physical universe. She strives to offer romance, but with complexity; spirituality, without the religion. Her novels express a purpose and offer subtle messages about life, the spirit and, of course, love.
