Combining areas of Tokyo, Cairo, London, New York, Rome and Bombay and a multitude of existing and proposed architecture projects with challenging salient theory, Coates had envisaged the ultimate expression of a city as a living structure. "Ecstacity" extends beyond Branson Coates projects to explore the work and ideas of many other architects, notably Frank Gehry, Rem Koolhaus, Zaha Hadid and Bernard Tschumi.
