Jo interviewed eleven very different couples for this book. The theme is not marriage, rather how to reach the decision to marry. The couples represent various situations, and include a couple whose marriage was arranged, an older couple, and a couple for whom previous marriages had failed. Jo comments: 'There is no "right way" of choosing whom to marry. I believe God gives us enormous discretion. I want to talk about the enduring value of marriage as an institution, the factors that go into finding a spouse, and the way we can discern whether we can make it work."
