This book is designed to offer systematic help with Latin-English translation, rather than simply being a collection of passages. Each section takes up a particular translation or syntactical point and provides three interesting passages for practice, the first usually a simple piece of prose, the second and third practice prose and verse. The whole builds into a coherent course suitable for pupils at about GCSE or Common Entrance standard. It will also be of great value to teachers of Latin in improving their student's approach to translation.
