Author Biography
Lesley Barnes is an illustrator and animator who lives in Glasgow with her small dog Cleo. Her distinctive work straddles the spheres of fashion, music, children's literature, film and product design. Her clients include The New York Times, Twitter and Google. She has previously published with Tate Publishing, Laurence King and The Folio Society. Zoe Whitley was born in Washington, D.C. and raised in Los Angeles and now calls London home, where she lives with her husband and daughter. She is Senior Curator at the Hayward Gallery and was previously Curator of International Art at Tate. Her debut children's book came out in 2019, also with Tate Publishing, called Meet the Artist: Frank Bowling. Her favourite pastimes are talking and travelling, both usually art-related.
