Author Biography
Cath's whole life has been about books. As a librarian, teacher, editor, community gardener (vegetable story-time anyone?) and now a literacy tutor, she aims to inspire a love of books in everyone. As a child, her fascination with stories was encouraged by a wonderful English teacher (Miss Storey!) local librarians and an amazing children's bookshop (The Lion and the Unicorn) where authors met their fans. Cath now loves sharing her own stories with children of all ages. She lives in Kent with her partner and a high maintenance cat. When not writing, she grows mutant vegetables on a windy allotment overlooking the sea. Author of: Bonkers About Beetroot, Meg and Rat and Puff! Puff! Puff! and The Smart Hat Adam Pryce is a freelance designer/illustrator based in Manchester, UK. Since graduating from Hereford University in 2006 he has had the opportunity to work on various projects, working for companies such as Morrisons, Walker Books and WH Smith. He currently has 10 published childrens books and a range of greetings cards in stores around the UK. He enjoys working with the public on community projects and regularly lead creative workshops around the UK. Illustrator of: Meg and Rat and Puff! Puff! Puff!
